Humour me; it's just the hat talking.

I slept in, and spent a good part of the mornin' curled up in me jammies reading Harry Potter, while marble-sized hail beat meanacingly against the window. Got majorly snuzzled by the kitty during all this, too.

Oh, does life get any better than this?

And did I mention I was drinking Southern Pecan flavoured coffee?

Oh, yesssssssssss.

Admittedly, it would have been better if me friend weren't a thousand miles away, but one can't have everything, I guess.

Spent the rest of the day cleaning and reappreciating me grandma's furniture (thanks, tillytollo), cleaning me bedroom (DEAR LORD, NO!), and thoroughly cleaning the aircleaner.

That aircleaner was... disgusting. I mean it. I took some pics, but it's just too late for me to be messifying with Gimp.

Took peeks here and there at your lives, too, and spent a bit of time remembering what this holiday is all about.

Now I'm wearing pigtails (shows I mean business, don'tchaknow), and various things I found in me travels... like the FUNKAY PARTAY HAT (crocheted hot pink, blue, and black-- it's... bizarre), the unusual-plastic-choker-what-looks-like-stones that I thought I lost years ago, and the buttondown blue cotton shortsleeve shirt I simply adore (but never seem to have the opportunity to wear)... Evidently, I was some sort of Deadhead last year in a previous life. Tried taking a picture of me, but that was even scarier than the aircleaner! Maybe I'll post one of those when I'm feeling braver (and can see again *blinkblink*)

What else did I do this weekend? Not a whole heckuva lot, that's for sure (which is exactly what I wanted!) : )...

Oh, I did a bit of local barhopping Saturday night, but nothing major. Some guy who couldn't have been more than 22 tried his darnedest to pick M and I up. We have NO idea why. We kept looking around for his cue cards, as he had to be getting those lines from somewhere! Ah, well. It was highly entertaining, in its own way (and moreso than the what the DJ was spinning, in any case).

By the way, Sheena is a punk rocka. Sheena is a punk rocka now. She's a punk, punk, a punk rocker...

I need to learn me four chords, I really do. And get some sleep.

But before I go...

Welcome enraptured! I'm really keen on the daily photo of Alaska bit, and am looking forward to getting to know you better : )

Hugs to those who need 'em, those who want 'em, and the rest a ya Muggles.

Long or not, I hope your weekend was exactly what you wanted : )

*scansupwards*... jeez, who wrote this thing?! Couldn't have been me... could it?
