Stolen from a whole mess o' fine people...
I see - said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw. Actually, I see rather badly, without corrective lenses of some sort... I see my computer, my kitty, a Mike's Hard Lemonade and too many knicknacks on me desk (me desk tends to be somewhat cluttered).
I find - that which I actively seek, consciously or subconsciously, and maybe a few surprises (though one of the things I seek is surprises, so perhaps I shouldn't have bothered to have added that).
I want - to be happy (which also happens to be a rather nifty composition by Thelonious Monk).
I have - many blessings, and too much schtuff, imo. And a really fine Mike's Hard Lemonade.
I wish - you
a Merry Christmas~much happiness.
I love - a rainy night, oh I love a rainy night...~ Really. I also love me, you, and a bunch of other people, animals and things.
I hate - that guy! (inside joke) Really, I can't think of anything.
I miss - but my aim's improving (shamelessly stolen from zed). Actually, I miss my friend, my Mom, the carefree innocence of youth (though I wouldn't trade the wisdom of age for it) and having a CVS half-a-block-away from work.
I fear - less and less every day.
I feel - pretty, I feel pretty, I feel pretty and witty and...~ warm, cuddly and vaguely squishy, if reports are to be believed.
I hear - unusually well. Right now... Bela Fleck and the Flecktones playing, my cat breathing, my lungs expanding, my kb clickity clacking, my computer crunching (is it supposed to be doing that?), my Mike's Hard Lemonade fizzing, my window fan whirring, and my neighbors... doing... something.
I smell - That's only a rumour!! j/k. The lemony-maltiness of Mike's Hard Lemonade (just how much am I getting paid for the prominent product placements again?), negative ions from the storm that's a'brewin', Green Tea (the purfume I'm wearing), and a bunch of other stuff.
I crave - wasn't that a cat food? Sorry. Attention, affection, love, respect and the truth, I suppose... and Ghiardelli dark chocolate. And more time.
I search - mit Google! I also search for my keys from time-to-time, and for secret doors whenever I'm adventuring in a dungeon somewhere and feel a draft.
I wonder - wonder wonder wonder WHO *beat* who wrote The Book of Love?
I regret - that last answer, and little else.
When was the last time you...
Smiled? - That'd be now.
Laughed? - About five minutes ago. Due again any minute.
Cried? - Yesterday? I'm not sure. It's been awhile since I actually bawled, though.
Danced? - Too many days ago!
Were sarcastic? - Last night, in jest.
Hugged someone? - IRL? Saturday.
Kissed someone? - sigh.
Talked to an ex? - Saturday.
Watched your favorite movie? - I don't have one.
Had a nightmare? - Can't recall.
Last book you read - EMyth, by Michael Gerber (not finished with it, actually).
Last movie you saw - Chocolat, I think... went to see The Quills on Saturday, but either the film or the projector (or the projectionist) broke (sadists!).
Last thing you had to drink - Mike's Hard Lemonade! Lemony clear malt beverage with other natural flavours-- ask for it by name!
Last time you showered - Yesterday (fine. so I DO smell.)
Last thing you ate - Mozzerella sticks with Raspberry sauce. Considering making a Boca Burger with veggies and Jarlsberg cheese, though.
Mouseferatu asked me to pass this along...
Okay, everyone, I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I decided to go ahead and do it. I've created a new community for sufferers of chronic health issues, be they physical, emotional, or mental. There's not much there yet, but I'm hoping that will change. Go to www.livejournal.com/users/chronic_health if you're at all interested. Even if you yourself aren't interested, would you be so good as to post the link in your own journal, so people I don't know personally can hear about it? Thanks much.
(No problem, mouseferatu!)

Tell me this isn't a fitting name for me cat (from Kabalarians.com):
Your first name of Maxamillian makes you spontaneous and versatile, enjoying congenial association, appreciating the finer things of life, and loving to talk and debate. You are strong willed and self-sufficient, not depending on others for encouragement. Your desire for independence and freedom means that you seldom tolerate limitations. Although you are naturally happy and generous, you fail to hold friendships because you are inclined to be too dogmatic, argumentative, or sarcastic. In an argument, you usually emerge the victor, but at a cost. Physical weaknesses centre in the head. The eyes, ears, teeth, or sinuses could be affected, or you could experience loss of hair. Skin problems such as acne or eczema could also appear.
The summations for both my new and my old name (I changed the spelling of my first name many years back) were eerily on-target. I'll save those for another post, though.
Enneagrammatically-speaking, I am a Seven
Primary Intelligence: Mental
Coping Style: Positive
Social Style: Assertive
Hierarchical Style: Ideals
Sevens use their mental intelligence to create a positive spin on life by coming up with various utopian possibilities about how things could be. They can be very inspirational as they assert their utopian ideals about how people can live better lives or make the world a better place. Robin Williams is a well-known Seven, and his character in the movie Dead Poets Society is an excellent example of this. By regularly imagining how things can be good or made better, Sevens tend to be very optimistic, and their optimism gives them the confidence to assert themselves in the world, going after whatever it is they want.
And from this site:
Talented, high-spirited and clever, some people refer to 7s as having monkey-mind energy. In love with all forms of pleasure, 7s are truly experiential personalities. They understand the workings of the Universe where abundance is concerned and believe the world was made for them to experience everything in every fun way possible. They like using their vivid imaginations for everything they do, especially when it comes to planning something fun.
Oh, I am such a silly little monkey! ; )
