New config:
Wow, thanks for the feedback, guys. Here's what I've come up with:

MSI P6N SLI Platinum LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 Allendale 1.8GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E4300 - Retail

G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) DualChannel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ - Retail

EVGA 256-P2-N624-AR GeForce 7900GS 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 KO Video Card - Retail

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - OEM

Microsoft Windows XP Professional With SP2B 1 Pack - OEM
Haha, I'm finally moving to XP! :P

I really really want one of these:
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
Or maybe one of these:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
But I'm having trouble justifying the extra $$ atm when I have several perfectly good ATA Barracudas. Still, $70 or $80 to move my OS and proggies to a fat SATA disk right off the bat is very tempting.

I still plan on reusing the stuff I listed here.

Questions:

Does this config look better than the last one?

Anything I could do better, for the price?

I've heard the Allendale 775 has a crappy heatsink; think I should get this Zalman right off the bat?
ZALMAN CNPS9500 LED 92mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan with Heatsink - Retail

Will you buy me a pony? I shall need to sell it or win races with it in order to afford this.

I'm feeling all kinds of: tired tired

I didn't check if you changed the memory or not. It should be fine. But just make sure it's quality and all that. I bought mine from Crucial, just because they guarentee it works (I tried to buy it from mwave but FedEx delivered it to the wrong people, and those wrong people signed for it and KEPT IT.) Fortunately their signature was "W Will" and mine isn't. So FedEx is screwed. :P

Heh. I've always been a Kingston fan for the same reason. The one I chose is, for whatever reason, the bestselling and highest rated on Newegg. I was surprised!

I bought a high-end zalman (still, hardly expensive, in comparison to all the other crap in my computer) and I LOVE IT TO PIECES. It's fan (pun) tastic.
