In related news, Chris Eccleston has been announced as the new Doctor Who.

He's a good choice, I think. I mean, I'd have been the better choice, of course, but he's not half bad. ;)

I'm feeling all kinds of: ~They call me Doctor Love (Doctor Love!)~
What I hear: Orbital - Doctor?

He's a sharp-lookin' guy! :)

I am sorry but Tom Baker will be the only Dr. Who for me. I know it's silly but I just can't help it. Though your man looks like he could pick the role right up himself.

Tom Baker is my Doctor, too. *swoooon*

Though P really does look very Doctorwhoish here, doesn't he!!

red and black...my favorite combination!

Hee :) It is a great colour combo, isn't it! Red and black become him, I think *swoon* (But maybe I'm a teensy weensy bit biased.)

And I shall use this icon with you more often! ;)

Hahahah the first thing I thought of when I saw the pic (before reading anything) was that he looks a lot like Dr. Who

But with that Chris Eccleston dude...the doctor is supposed to get YOUNGER as time goes on, right? By my accounts he ought to be a little kid now or something
ldy From: ldy Date: March 20th, 2004 10:20 pm (UTC) (permalink)
The Doctor should be meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Seriously, I could do a convincing Doctor. I think a doctor who'd been regenerated as a woman and didn't quite expect, or like, that at all would be very interesting. And, hey, I'm only six!

As for Eccleston, I suppose the fans will have to adjust. The doctor isn't supposed to be a sexual creature, and I expect the powers that be will change that, too. Ah, well...

Welllll... it's ok for a stand-in TARDIS, but it really must be a Police Box, and it should be blue, not red ;)

I do like inspectorjury's version, though. Well done!

I also think Tom Baker is my favourite Doctor. Peter Davidson was good too, I liked him. And Jon Pertwee as well. Didn't care much for Colin Baker.

And very cool that we're going to have come new episodes! I can't wait until they make their way across the pond to North America :)

I've never heard of this Eccleston guy before, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Though I have to say that so far I've seen Doctors #1, 2, 4, 5, and 7, and the only one who hasn't worked for me was the first one, because he was so far from what I'd come to expect from all the rest.

Yes, I felt the same way about the first because I saw him so far out of sequence.

I'll forgive you for the phone box/police box gaffe, if only cos he looks like a killer Doctor himself!! Damn. He has that latent genius look about him.

Tom Baker in Genesis of the Daleks - possibly the best few hours of televisual entertainment ever (I kid you not).

Did I ever tell you I know the dude that designed the Dalek? (one of my only real claims to fame so I tend to pimp him out a lot)
