I reverently believe that the Maker who made us all makes everything in New England but the weather. I don't know who makes that, but I think it must be raw apprentices in the weather-clerk's factory who experiment and learn how, in New England, for board and clothes, and then are promoted to make weather for countries that require a good article, and will take their custom elsewhere if they don't get it.

Crazy weather day... no doubt. Was so warm and calm this morning, I felt stupid and out-of-place for wearing a coat. Just hours later, the temp plummetted, and we were in the middle of a blizzard. Ah, vindicated in my choice of outerwear! (Of course, by that point, I was already stuck in an office for the day, so, meh.)
I should really expect this type of behaviour from the weather up here by now, I suppose. I mean, we've known each-other for over ten years. Still, jftr: when it comes to surprises, I prefer a nice cake to gale force winds.
In other news, I was terribly disappointed with Blockbuster regarding Dino Crisis1-- I couldn't even get the blasted start-up screen to show!
So I bring it back to Blockbuster, all cranky and frowning and Eville-Ice-Queen-Customer-from-Hell-looking. "Uhm, wouldjaliketaexchangethis?" "NO. YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE I WANT. I WOULD PREFER MY CASH PLEASE."
They must not see too many five-year-old Eville-Ice-Queen-Customers-from-Hell politely demanding their money back, because they gave me my cash without much problem. This made me feel a bit better, so I signed up for a membership card, and watched DBZ with the manager for a little while :P
I couldn't find any anime I wanted to see (read: couldn't remember what it was that dorm told me to rent, and since the anime was mixed in with everything else, it wouldn't have been like seeking a needle in a haystack), so I checked out their games.
Didn't find much in worth playing, but saw Dino Crisis 2 in their "sale" section. It was dated the day I bought the original. I bought it. Can you say "five-minute-memory?" I knew thatcha could!
Also bought pizza dough :) It was a buck-fitty instead of the aforementioned buck :/ Still a bargain for this wonderful stuff :D Now I can make broccoli/portobella pizza bread to dine on while I curse at my new game ;)
Yesterday it was hyphens, today it seems to be emoticons :P It means it's time to go. :?2
I hope you're having a lovely day :)3
1 No, not that Dino.
2 I don't know what :? means, but it seemed appropriate.
3 You did play with your Ding-a-Ling, didn't you?
