Good things, bad things, you know I've had my SPEWS

Good things:
I didn't die in my sleep
A kind neighbor shoveled or snowblowed the sidewalk for me
Office Admin brought in supernummy sweet home-made cranberry bars

Bad things:
I have a sinus infection and wish I'd died in my sleep
I still had to clear out my car and driveway, as another three inches fell last night
I don't want to work; I want to sleep in the bed all day

Oh, and there's a SPEWS entry with a livejournal domain. It may help to explain some of why I'm not receiving comments:

WTF? I'm not certain I understand this. Why was symetrix.net pointing to livejournal.com in the first place? How did SPEW know to pull up the userinfo? And why is this outdated record suddenly screwing up my mail?

There are problems on livejournal's end as well. Mail to ldy@livejournal.com is no longer being received by me (because of said SPEW record), but is being SENT to an email address that isn't even in my profile anymore. I even went into email management and deleted the old addresses.

It is still a valid email address for me, sure, but the security implications of having mail sent to an address that isn't listed in one's profile are frightening.

I've notified my mail server, and made a note in my support request, and can't do much else but not worry.

I'd like to get a hold of SPEWS, but I don't have the authority to get LJ off the hook with that. Though I wish I could notify someone there that the record in question is out of date.

Office admin just offered me some cocoa. So the good outweighs the bad, and all will be well in the universe again. Right?

It has itsybitsy marshmallows. (The cocoa, not the universe; though the universe has 'em, too.)

Hugs to those who need 'em, those who want 'em, and those who don't run away quickly enough.
