They said hi back :) I didn't realize how remiss I'd been in commenting back on these-- whoops!

Your family in florida. *swwooooonn*

Ok, how'd you manage to find a kid that looks like you? that's pretty remarkable!

By the way, you both look like me.

Just sayin'.

(The King is handsome, too!)

They're both lookers. Boy already has groupies, for heavens sake!

Maybe we're all related somehow :)

Z and I are shiny happy people. P's a pretty happy guy, too-- though you couldn't tell it from pictures. I've got to find a way to get him to smile in photos more often. He always goes deadpan when the camera appears!

On a completely different subject, keep breathin' sweetie. And I'm lovin' those photos of Murphy you posted!

Why are you the ONLY one whose teeth I can see? ;)
ldy From: ldy Date: October 22nd, 2003 06:54 am (UTC) (permalink)
Z will smile in photos on occasion (I've got a photo on my desktop in which teeth are definitely visible!), though I think he's picking up the no-teeth grin from his dad. P just doesn't smile in pictures. He always goes deadpan when the camera appears!

I didn't start showing my teeth when I smiled until I was well into my 20s. If I can do it, so can they ;)

You and P do look like brother and sister
ldy From: ldy Date: October 22nd, 2003 06:55 am (UTC) (permalink)
Dude, we ARE.

That's why I'll probably move to the south instead of him moving north.

ldy From: ldy Date: October 22nd, 2003 06:57 am (UTC) (permalink)
*blush* awwww :)

I'm not used to having a family-family, y'know?

I promise that P and I will be less cute in a NINE DAYS ;D
duinlas From: duinlas Date: October 16th, 2003 09:48 pm (UTC) (permalink)

annnnd. none of you look alike. Except maybe you and that old guy. Is he your father? Or uncle or something?

Btw, Pacman doesn't photograph well. Tell him to relax. Or inject him with horse tranqs. Zaphod, on the other hand, is the next Keanu Reeves. Whoa.

vhut, no guitar pictures?

ldy From: ldy Date: October 17th, 2003 02:03 pm (UTC) (permalink)
I didn't actually snap any of him playing last weekend... (though I do have a photo of him playing a goofy inflatable guitar for some odd reason).

Since the two of you are connected by musical monkey madness, here's an older one for ya :)

monkey boy
(ignore the fingerprints!)

Custom Gibson SG Special. Is nummy!

OH! I think I forgot to mention this! The boy is playing a certain venue in November-- captive audience of 60,000 people. Btw, I pronounced that as "sixtyfrickenthousand" in my head. Amazing.
waning_estrogen From: waning_estrogen Date: October 16th, 2003 10:46 pm (UTC) (permalink)
certainly looks like a happy family unit to me.
you all fit together so neatly, too.
8) !!!
ldy From: ldy Date: November 5th, 2003 06:23 pm (UTC) (permalink)
Hee, thank you! I expect the boy will be towering over us in no time flat :)
duhneese From: duhneese Date: October 17th, 2003 12:21 am (UTC) (permalink)
are you sure you're not his real mom????? you do look related.

shiny, happy people!
ldy From: ldy Date: November 5th, 2003 06:25 pm (UTC) (permalink)
Hm. I'd have been...21 or so. I did a lot of unusual things when I was 21, and I'm sure there are a few of them that I have blocked out or just simply don't remember. Somehow, I don't think carrying a baby to term was one of them.

It is uncanny, though, isn't it?
From: lakme Date: October 17th, 2003 02:55 am (UTC) (permalink)
I hovered. I got nothing. Goddamn Netscape.

But you all are very pretty :)
ldy From: ldy Date: November 5th, 2003 06:45 pm (UTC) (permalink)
Aw, thank you :)

Actually, nutscrape (assuming you're using 6.0 or later) has it right-- I should have used title tags instead of alts. The sad thing about nutscrape is that even if I switch it all over to title tags, it will only give one line of info, and cut the rest off.

Anywho, I've changed the tags on the photos, and plan on making a habit of using title tags in future :) I'd be interested in seeing if you could read what they're supposed to say, so I know where the cutoff point is in future.

Here's what they should say:

Photo 1: I love my horrible wonderful misshapen freak bear of Bluebearry love

Photo 2: is it just my imagination, or is there a family resemblance between at least two of these three unrelated people?

Photo 3: it's good to be king!

Photo 4: at the airport

I know, I know, terribly informative! :P
