My sister and I always had unique names for our stuffed animals. I mean, we put thought into it! What lucky stuffed animals. That is all.

Hi everyone,

Paul (Alice's dad) here -- thanks for all your kind words, we really appreciate it. We've got a few leads: fingers crossed some will come through.

As for the unique names... yeah, it's a challenge. We've done the same with Alice. You feel a bit foolish coming up with names, but we've got a kind of theory that having names helps kids distinguish between a giraffe - a random giraffe you see at the zoo, say - and a specific giraffe - e.g. Clarence, or Cosmo (another giraffe she had, who was much uglier, and less popular). We are starting to run out of names though... luckily we've got a while until Christmas to think up more.

Thanks again all.
