Haven't smoked in a week anna half. Won't smoke ever again.

Sweetie's flying home with Amber. I didn't ground the plane this time ;)

I just bought a leotard that's very flattering!

I wanted to buy another (one in black velvet with silver daisies) so I could compare the two beneath the stage lights, but the store's return policy is suckadelic.

I really really really want to see Pirates of the Carribean. I'm guessing I'll see it alone. :(

I just had a turkey sammich!!!!!!!

I'm stupidly considering buying a pinball game-- it has pirates and stuff.

My bed broke. It's been fixed.

I went to karaoke last night. We played pool and laughed and danced and sang. Janet and Kris sang "Suddenly Seymore" for Paul and me.

Earlier, he had pulled me aside and stared deeply into my eyes. "You don't realize what you're in for, do you?" Hrm? "You just don't realize what you're in for." He smiled, eyes still locked with mine. "You've gotten involved with this guy who has made it his life's goal to make you as happy as you could possibly be. Whatever will you do?"

My life has gone from sit-com to serial tragi-comedy to harlequin romance. Except there's less breast-heaving and more funny stuff. I likes the funny stuff.

I need to refocus on the play and get more sleep.

Is it naptime yet?

I'm feeling all kinds of: worky wonky

I SO wish I could! But I have rehearsal 11-3 on Sat and noonish to whenever on Sunday (tech, blech), and have to help a friend with burning some mixed CDs Saturday afternoon, and should really help M with painting and stuff Saturday night.

Calgon, take me away!

hey, when you get around to bodice-ripping, I wanna see pics! ;-)
ldy From: ldy Date: July 10th, 2003 08:14 am (UTC) (permalink)
OK! It may take awhile, though...

See, that's why I have this icon. It takes a real man to rip a leather bodice ;)

Hmmm...broken bed. Imagine that....

Good to hear from you again.

Pinball machines are cool, I want one (or more...)
ldy From: ldy Date: July 10th, 2003 08:15 am (UTC) (permalink)
No comment on the broken bed... ;)

I don't think I can really justify the cost of a pinball machine, though I'm sorely tempted!

You could have always chanted Amber over this way, I'd have taken her off his hands for you him ;)

Broken bed? Errr... such poor workmanship and construction *ahem* right?

I, too, wish for naptime. Alas, I'm off again for more worktime :\

Zoom...
ldy From: ldy Date: July 10th, 2003 08:36 pm (UTC) (permalink)
Hee. The bed is an antique ;)

I'll chant the next Amber that wanders in or near my life your way, promise!

And I'm going to finally get some sleep now-- sweet dreams when you get there!

Sakes, I've not seen or heard Black Rose in about a decade! Our local bowling alley used to have one. It was brand new right about the time I got out of college, in 1992 (or at least new to the alley, and was in pristine condition).

If I was to own a pinball machine, that's one of the ones I'd pick... lots happening on the board.
ldy From: ldy Date: July 10th, 2003 08:43 pm (UTC) (permalink)
Yeah, actually, it would probably be second choice next to my favourite pinball of all time, Whitewater. But this is a steal, it's local, and I like pirates even more now than I did when I last saw this thing in an arcade!!

But do I really want to spend a shitload of buckos on a pinball machine? Even if it is a steal? I dunno. I'm gonna call the guy tomorrow and see if it's still available, and whether I can see it Saturday.

Um, the bed broke? Just like that, all by itself, with no help from anyone?
ldy From: ldy Date: July 10th, 2003 08:43 pm (UTC) (permalink)

Well, yeah... the first time.

There is an album YOU must buy.

The artist is Kirsty MacColl

The name of the album is "Tropical Brainstorm".

I heard the whole thing from beginning to end this morning. YOU are all I thought about. The words. The feeling. The sound. I even imagined us in the car together listening to it.

Please do whatever you must to get this album TODAY.

ldy From: ldy Date: July 10th, 2003 08:34 pm (UTC) (permalink)
I ordered it right before leaving work!!!!!!! What's funny is that I nearly bought her "Electric Landlady" many years ago based on the name alone (and will probably get that, too, soon). I'll let you know when Tropical Brainstorm comes in :D

And CONGRATULATIIONS on the APT! I'm so very excited for you!

Both of our lives are changing so rapidly right now... they're changing in different ways, but the effects are all-encompassing and nearly flooring both of us. I'm glad we're going through it together (and smoke-free, too!) *HUGS*

Re:

I know!!!

I was thinking EXACTLY that on my drive in this morning while listening to Tropical Brainstorm...

How we're both smoke free, and living in somewhat of a dream state, watching life unfold before us, and how romantic & exciting & surreal it is....

I can't wait to see you. REALLY can't wait.
