And so very purple!
We have achieved couchage! Sofage? Big smooshy seatingage?

Whatever it is, it's ginormous!

OK, it's not as wide as the old couch, but it's definitely bigger. Much bigger.

Old couch will have to stay where it is until I either get husky male friends to help me move it, or take it upon myself to move it alone.

Don't laugh. I've done stupider things. Really.

Back to work!

I'm feeling all kinds of: Couch pirate on the shaggy sea
What I hear: papers rustling

Re: some big words ya talk'n

Hee.

None of my friends are really all that ginormous. Scottobear's probably the closest to ginormous of all my friends, and I wouldn't ask him because he's having some back problems. Oh, and he's also a thousand miles away.

Husky, though, that I can find locally with little problem :)

Hee. I'd look up to you, even if you were munchkin-sized!

Re: some big words ya talk'n

Heck, no need to put you on a pedestal to look up to you, either!

You need some of those glider thingumies you put on the feet that make the furniture slide, even if you are teeny-tiny woman... I saw a teeny-tiny woman use it on TV and it worked!

Hee. I love those things!

Actually, the biggest problem is getting the old one down the rickety narrow stairs. I may have to take it outside, then in through the side door, so I don't have to navigate the turn!

I'll worry about that another day. For now, I'll just enjoy having a living room with massive amounts of seating. :)

Red rover, red rover, let Paula come over!

You are welcome to drink Mike's on the squishy couch anytime!

Hooray, Hooray, for wonderful purple sofa!

Don't you dare move some giant bit of wood and metal on your own... believe me, you're better off waiting!

There are plenty of huge-mungous guys that're more than happy to help a ldy with her furniture. Let the husks move it, and you can supervise.

Hee. OK, will do!

I can't wait to see Max's reaction to this ginormous purple upholstered pirate ship!

Soon soon soon. I'll have more weekends to myself and be able to travel again. Depending on when you wish to rearrange, I may be able to help and stuff :)

Speaking of furniture relocation and box pushing, has M set a date for the transportation of her possessions?
ldy From: ldy Date: May 13th, 2003 11:36 am (UTC) (permalink)
Aww, thanks, Norm!

M should be closing on the house May 30. I'm throwing myself a party on June 13, so I'm guessing she'll want to move the weekend of June 7, if all goes well!

Congratulations on your fabulously purple new couchage. As the acknowledged Furniture-Totin' Princess, I'd like to warn you that it's possible (and probably tempting) to move it all by yourself as soon as possible... but it will hurt tomorrow, so much that you will be stuck on that couch recovering! ;-)
