We've gotta get our clients to push this-- and HARD!

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singin' in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me

Say nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me

I've had this running through my head all day. I vaguely remember dreaming last night about doing improv in the USO during wartime, and then singing this to a huge crowd of GIs at the end of the night. They were all so very quiet during the song. It reminded me so much of WWII-- everything was being filmed with those old-time crank movie cameras... something to do with EMF weapons and electronic means of filming not being available. Heh. I also remember someone telling me that I was famous in the states, and had been shown on the Tonight Show. Nifty.

Later, I also remember being at war in/with Israel-- the sun went down and I began singing the Friday night blessing. Baruch ata Ad-nai, eloheynu melech ha-olam; asher kid-shanu b'mitzvotav, v'tzivanu l'hadlik ner, shel Shabbat. The fighting stopped-- everything was quiet. We all hugged each other, said Shalom, and went our separate ways. What a quick and pleasant way to end a war.

M tried to get Dream a Little Dream out of my head this morning by inserting Mr. Sandman (yeeeeeeeeees?), in it's place, but it didn't quite stick. Keeps popping up every once in awhile, though, making for an interesting medley.

I always have something playing on repeat in my brain. Last night's medley was the Superman theme mixed in with the Raiders of the Lost Ark theme. It was quite good, really, but I'm glad it's gone.

I know I'm very musically-oriented-- there's always a song in my head. I can't help but wonder how much processing time I'm losing to those brain cycles. Might those cycles be better spent searching for SETI? Cracking DES? Remembering the odd phone number, name or appointment? ...Nah.

Didn't get to see Nicholas Nickleby Wednesay; saw Daredevil instead. I kept thinking about the Bullseye/Andrew Agassi comparison I saw in someone's journal awhile back (shame on me for not bookmarking it!). Was happily surprised to catch the Stan Lee cameo (and to find out he was one of two executive producers). And I was quite entranced with the wonderful world of rotoscoping. Wishing I had gone to Siggraph this year so I could've learned more about who did what, graphics-wise, in that, and what non-proprietary software was used. I'm such a geek, I know.

Today has been insanely busy. Fridays are usually tough for me, but today is just outta hand. It doesn't help that I have sex on the brain (thanks, lizvang!). We had a staff meeting and I swear, I was interepreting every innocent phrase completely out of context. I can make anything dirty at this point, I swear. Oi!

Got laundry done last night, but didn't touch the laptop (oooh, she said "laptop!" rowr!). Tried to get the ancient Scrabble program to work correctly on Wulong (to no avail-- it's not NT compatible, and I have WIN2K-- it installed fine, but only shows me about a quarter of the screen when it runs).

Did manage to catch a couple of the extras on the second Grail disk with M. Hee. I'm such a Python freak :D

Gotta run-- I've got a zillion things to do (and the bookkeeper should be walking in just walked in with supermarket Sushi for me!).

Hope you're having a most beautifulmous day :D

Addendum: I'm wearing my dark gray knit silk turtleneck today... Not sure why, but this top always makes me, uhm, topheavy Va-va-va-VOOOMY! Rowr! Not sure why I felt like sharing that, but there it is. Remember, the eyes are up here, folks.
