rubbah and horns

Randomly scribbled notes between randomly scribbled work

Yesterday marked the end of another six-week semester for Paul... an occasion especially worthy of note, as it ends his twelve-week doubled-up-on-classes hell.* His next class will be challenging (Environmental Psych), but at least it will be his only class.

Tonight I have auditions for a local production of The Crucible. Auditions were last night, too, but I missed 'em. I swear to G-d, I thought they were next week! I'll have to thank the director for sending out a reminder notice. (Does so.)

What else? Work's kicking my arse. I'm two weeks behind on Battlestar Galactica. But I did catch the first part of Planet Earth last night, and DVR'd the other two. All I can say is "WOW." I'm seriously considering picking up the entire series (11 episodes) on DVD.**

Like I'll actually have the time to watch 'em. Well, a girl can dream, can't she?

I have gotten to spend a little time playing KoL, after two months being AWOL... I'm somehow doing consistent 5-day hardcore teetotaler runs (to 13, no less). I'm sure I could do 4 days with a little RNG help (and a little extra time, but I guess that's out of the question).

bornofdivinity and some friends are coming to Orlando in a couple weeks-- I've managed to finagle two days off (even though my workload is such that I can't really afford them). I'm psyched. I could really do with a few days hanging and laughing with friends. Maybe we'll do Disney or something :)

I'd better get back to work... hope life is happy, wherever you are!

~Hugs to those who need 'em, those who want 'em, and those who don't run away quickly enough~

* Did I say "his?" I meant "our."
** Usually, these things are sold per episode, and cost a a small fortune. The entire series is $79, which ain't bad, really.
*** I'm down to 153 pounds-- losing at the rate of 1.5 lbs per week. I should be my old self by July :)
