sars

(no subject)

Home sick.

I don't know if I've just been pushing myself too hard across the board, or if anger-induced stress (see: "cellphone battery") whacked my immune system. But I'm down.

Sick (loss of energy, headache, sinus ickies, tummy ickies, seeing stars when I stand up, etc.) and unhappy and feeling very alone.

I know I have folks that care about me. It's just a feeling. Perhaps I should shower.

I really like what zoethe says here. While same sex marriage is not as pressing an issue today as segregation was forty years ago, there are distinct parallels. And the issue won't wait.

I slept most of the day. Then I finally finished reading Kathleen Tessaro's Elegance. Terrific book. Will make a wonderful movie. I'd love to play the leading role.

Can't keep up with LJ today, sorry.

In fact, consider me "not here" until Monday or Tuesday.

Very much looking forward to seeing a number of you in Toronto this weekend! I promise I'll be in better health and better spirits by then :D

Hugs to those who need 'em, those who want 'em, and those who don't run away quickly enough
