Another installment in "stuff I do when I think nobody is looking (or listening)"

I have this habit of latching onto a song I like and listening to it over and over and over and over and over and over again.

womanonfire posted an mp3 bjork's version of this today, and I'm all swoony. I've been trying to remember where the opening orchestral riff came from. Now I wonder how I ever forgot.

I'm such a sucker for lush string arrangements. I really am.

You Only Live Twice
(from the Bond movie of the same name)

You only live twice
Or so it seems
One life for yourself
And one for your dreams

You drift through the years
And life seems tame
'Til one dream appears
And love is its name

And love is a stranger
Who'll beckon you on
Don't think of the danger
Or the stranger is gone

This dream is for you
So pay the price
Make one dream come true
You only live twice

Some lives run on fear, some on love, some on longing.

Mine apparently runs on irony and a wry sense humour :)

Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Happy Valentine's Day, my friends :) *smoooch!*

(And in cryptic note-passing, if thou art reading this, Yarrrrrr.)
