You look so tired

So very tired.

I believe I will counter the counter tomorrow morning.

How many meanings for the word "counter" just went through your brain?
Just wondering is all.

So very tired. I had Twelfth Night rehearsal tonight; we dropped-in the other romantic scene with Joanna. Again the topics were sex, control, dominance and her fiancé. Heh. I think these exercises say more about our Fearless Leader than they do about our characters, but it was fun.

So very tired. I learned about piggy-back loans today, whereby one escapes PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance) fees (which are required from private conventional lenders when putting less than 20% down) by taking out two loans: one normal mortgage for 80% of the selling price, and another regular loan (at a slightly higher rate) for the remaining 15% (assuming one puts 5% down). I'll crunch the numbers another time, but it sounds/looks/appears promising.

I'm amazed that a $60,000 loan can ultimately cost $150,000 in the long run, even at today's low rates. That extra thousand or three the seller wants actually becomes an extra $2500 - $7500 when the magic of compound interest is taken into account. To keep costs down, I'll learn all I can about mortgages, as quickly as I can, and negotiate to the best of my abilities on the selling price.

So very tired. Tomorrow is laundry day. Are you not envious? I don't think I'll take out my garbage tonight. These two statements are completely unrelated, but I'm too tired to find a throughline or segway.

This site is extremely cool (thanks, compostheap!). I've only explored Eden so far... I was blown away and look forward to exploring the rest of the site as time allows.

Such a pretty house and such a pretty garden

No alarms and no surprises please (let me out of here)

Just for the record, I love this song. I'm only now exploring OK Computer and Kid A (I'm a little slow on the uptake sometimes, I know), and have found that this is one of those songs that I just fall for so completely that I play it over and over and over again. Its appearance in my life right now, and in the writing of this entry, is wonderful, and on so many levels.

So very tired. Goodnight.

My cat loves you.
